Psalms 8, Ezekial 44:17-18, John 19:23-25, Romans 3:23, 1 John 4:17, Hebrews 2, 10 & 11, 2 Cor. 3:16-18
Do you know what it means to be clothed in “His Glory”?
Jesus walked the earth as the perfect reflection of God as man. He came to give us the same ability.
He replaced the 1st Adam by redeeming what he lost. We now have personal communion with God, are cleansed completely by His blood, and have authoritative power through His name.
We are the ability of Christ on earth. His hands and feet! He has given us His very own righteousness, His holiness. His Glory is ours now!
“As He is, so are we now in this world.”
He is a King and a priest and so are we. We have been made co-heirs with Him. Because Jesus carried the anguish of every sin, sickness, and shame for us, to the point of sweating blood, we don’t have to sweat to have His precious gift.
The white, seamless, linen tunic Jesus wore is a picture of the pure white garment of glory we too now have. Our glorious garment reflects His finished work. You are surrounded by His protection and provision.
When you accept His gift of His perfection you must rid yourself of shame, guilt, and condemnation. There is nothing more for you to do to earn a better standing with God. When God looks at you He sees the perfection of Christ. This is liberty!
You are free to shine through His glorious garment! The first revelation of this to-good-to-be-true news is in your inner man. Receiving this knowledge into your inner being changes your entire view and opinion of God. He is a good Father who wants to give you good gifts. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
Every time you believe what God says about you, every time you read the Bible, every time you here the truth proclaimed, and every time you answer the voice of shame with Christ’s perfection you go from glory-to-glory and faith-to-faith.
The life of your inner man will shine outward. It becomes visible! Your thoughts, words, and actions are transformed by your diligent seeking of Christ throughout the Word. The Bible seamlessly weaves the redeeming work of Christ throughout time. As we behold Him we change!
By faith you will inherit the promises that He is faithful to fulfill. You accomplish your life’s task by hearing, seeing, and going where God would have you share your gifts and abilities. As you create, lead, and serve in your community God will continually reveal Himself to others through your life.
-This is victory!
